Introduction to Meditation
Have you ever thought of learning how to meditate? By coming in touch with your body and mind, you can develop calm, clarity and insight which will help you in your daily life. In this three week series, I'll be presenting mindfulness of breathing, awareness of physical sensations, witnessing thoughts and emotions and cultivating loving-kindness.
All are welcome.
Pre-registration is required. Suggested donation: $30 for all three classes.
Classes on the following Thursday evenings: May 17th, 24th, and 31st from 7:00 - 8:30 pm

Mindfulness in Nature for Youth
Hands on learning aimed at cultivating appreciation and understanding of nature
through mindfulness and sensory awareness.
Location: Mountain Song Community School Garden
2904 West Kiowa Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80904
Time: 9-9:45 am for ages 5-7 years
10:00 - 11:00 am for ages 8 and above
Session One: June 18th-22
Session Two: July 16-20th
Session Three: August 6th-10th
Choose whichever session(s) fits your family’s summer schedule.
Each session includes five consecutive days of activities in the garden. Students are encouraged to attend all five classes in a session.
Instructor: Ayya Dhammadhira has previously taught mindfulness classes for youth at Mountain Song Community School. She merges her experience in elementary and outdoor education with her Buddhist training to create opportunities for interactive learning.
Suggested donation of $50/week. 10% discounts for multiple children.
